We have finished up Team Handball and it will be a good lead in to our next unit, which is Basketball. Team Handball focuses on passing, which is essential in Basketball. We will be starting basketball Monday February 14.

This year for the first time middle school students will be raising money for the American Heart foundation. The money will go to research for heart disease and other heart plagued diseases, which will help save lives. We will call the unit, "Hoops For Heart". Students will demonstrate a healthy lifestyle through our basketball unit, thus encouraging others to live an active lifestyle, which will help prevent heart plagued diseases!
